Today is THE Day and a Giveaway!

I have a couple of announcements to make today. . .

First, today marks the official birthday of Scissors & Spatulas!!!
That’s right, one year ago today, due to persuasions from my hubby, I sat down to write my first ever blog post. I hadn’t a clue what I was doing, but according to the hubs {who is also a software and web developer}, I needed a blog. Three plus hours later, I finished the post titled, Super Easy Sunday Supper.

The dinner was quick and easy, the posting process was not! But that was a year ago and I’m happy to say that it has gotten much easier now that I know what I’m doing {or at least I think I know what I’m doing}. Unfortunately it still takes me FOREVER to write a post {I’m a perfectionist}, but that’s okay because I love what I’m doing! Creating this blog was the BEST idea my hubby ever had! That Sunday night, the night I wrote that first post, I had NO idea that Scissors & Spatulas would open so many doors and bring me so much happiness. More on that later. . .

Next, I’m sharing my “Wickedly Cute Treat Bags” as part of the Monster Craft Bash over at Pocket Full of Pink today.
