Both of the boys were in school today so did some shopping! I stopped by two of my faves, Michaels and Kirklands, where I got some new fall decor. Ready to see?
A few “fallish” decorations for the coffee table in my family room.
I was so excited to find this lantern on sale for just $14.99! Have you seen how pricey the ones in the catalogs are {not mentioning any names, but I’m sure you know}? I loved the stuffed fabric pumpkin because the fabric looked a little retro. The greenery is just a few pics from Michaels and the little pumpkin is from Dollar Tree.
I like!
Now on to my breakfast room shelves that have been pretty boring since the 4th of July. I finally put up my “House Rules” subway art given to me by sweet Becky from Vinyl Crafts. Thanks Becky, I love it!
I filled my apothecary jars with candy corn {the boys are eyeing this jar, trying to figure out how to get up there} and mini pumpkins and gourds. Did you notice my infamous empty frame {seen here and here} I took a Dollar Tree mini pumpkin, added some berries and leaves and hung it from a ribbon {I attached the ribbon to the back of the pumpkin with a glue gun}.
Now for the bottom shelf. . .
but that’s another day! Stay tuned!
I’m joining in!

love it! xo, laura@imnotatrophywife.com

Your decor all looks so nice! I just love how you put it all together! My kids would be eyeing those candy corns too.
I love the stuffed pumpkin! I've never seen anything like that.
I think I'm going to need to invest in 1 or 2 bigger apothecary jars. I see lots of people filling them with stuff.

HI Jen…
Oooh…your home is looking sooo pretty all dressed up for autumn! I love how you did the shelf in your breakfast room. The apothecary jars filled with candy corn and autumn gourds…my favorite! I also love the autumn vignette that you created for your living room. You're right…the fabric on the pumpkin does look retro..I love that! Your new lantern…great find…great price! I have been searching for one as well…one that I don't have to sell an "arm and leg" for! Hehe!
Thanks so much for sharing your autumn pretties with us today…such a treat!
Warmest autumn wishes,

Love all of this!! Is that adorable fabric/striped pumpkin from Kirklands or Target? ~Shannon
How cute, Jen! The festive color combos make me smile…especially that retro-fabric pumpkin. It's fun to find "the look" without the price tag isn't it?
I would love to have you join me for my party – Time Travel Thursday. The current link is up until Monday night, and the new link goes up on Wednesday. Hope to see you there!
