Happy Labor Day!
Can you believe it’s “officially” the last day of summer? I’m sad, but I’m definitely ready for some cooler weather!
It’s raining here today, which is fine because my house needs some major cleaning. So, I’m taking the day off from the blog to do some housekeeping that I’ve been putting off for way too long! And I really don’t mind because we spent yesterday outdoors on the lake. Those of you who read my blog regularly know that my boys love to wake board. Well, not for real, they pretend – all the time! Well, Little Man #1, Jackson, actually did it for real yesterday! He has been wanting to try it for so long, but was afraid. He finally built up the courage yesterday to try.
I really don’t know why I’m sharing this photo with you because you can’t really see anything! But I’m so proud and he was so excited! He is actually wake surfing with daddy. They rode on the board together. He loved it, until they fell. That was enough for him. He said he might try it again when he is five (he is three now). Too cute!
Anyway, just wanted to share. Now back to cleaning. I hope you are enjoying your holiday! I’ll be back tomorrow with a little something exciting to show you.
Really? 3 years old and wakeboarding? Awesome!! My 3 year old would LOVE to do this with his Dad. Glad to see you had such a great day.
